Imagine connecting your students and teachers to NASA where they can virtually visit the facilities, meet the people, and learn about the research behind this inspirational organization. NASA's Digital Learning Network, an education project that began in 2003, established distance learning studios at all ten NASA centers and has evolved through years of experience in the distance learning arena, taking lessons from active research in the field and using the knowledge gained from that research to enhance its offerings. Four doctoral studies have focused on aspects of instructional design in both the asynchronous and synchronous realms of the DLN that shaped what we offer today for educators and students taking advantage of our services
